SafetyDesigner is a web-based-solution that analyzes the collision and contact safety (risk) of the robot without actual test of the collision. With the help of an AI technology, it analyzes the collision risk of almost all the types of the collision scenario. With the internet connection, the risk analysis can be performed in anywhere with a regular laptop (or desktop). You can evaluate the collision safety of the motion of your robot system at the planning stage even before you build the robot cell. It can save your time and cost which would be caused by a wrong design of the collaborative manufacturing process.
First, the user obtains the motion profile of the robot for the given task. Usually, it is not difficult to extract the motion profile from the robot system but the user can also use the customized software from Safetics to extract the motion profile more easily.
Second, connect to SafetyDesigner via internet and input the data regarding the robot system including the motion profile. Then, SafetyDesigner analyzes the collision risk of the motion by itself.
Third, review the evaluation results generated by SafetyDesigner and print out (or save) the collision safety evaluation (risk assessment) report.
