The Lathe Automation System is a complete pre-programmed and pre-integrated automation solution that allows new parts to be introduced to the automation system without a third-party integrator.
The Lathe Automation System includes the VSC, VersaBuilt’s CNC machine tending specific controller. The VSC software is parametric.
Using a web based form, the machinist inputs part configuration parameters. Once the part configuration is saved, the CNC operator can select a saved part configuration and the VSC will show the operator exactly where to load material on the VersaCart and to load the appropriate Op1 and Op2 jaws into the respective vises.
