The ROBiPAK is a UR+ certified solution for MIG/MAG welding with the robots UR5/UR5e and UR10/UR10e from Universal Robots. The "Ready-To-Weld" principle also applies to this system solution from ABICOR BINZEL. The air- or liquid-cooled welding torch system is ideally designed for quick installation on your UR. Modified components such as the powerful hose packages, which have already proven themselves in industrial robot technology and are based on the properties of the UNIVERSAL ROBOTS have been adapted to guarantee high quality equipment.
The Profinet communication runs via a specially developed control module for the robot and the iROB power source from ABICOR BINZEL contained in the ROBiPAK. A stable communication between the two devices is completed with a specially developed URCap Plugin. After installation it extends the programming interface of the UR with additional functions so that it is very easy to create first programs with which you can let the UR Cobot weld. The simple ""Welding Start"" or ""Welding Stop"" commands as well as the ""Set welding parameters"" function help you to program quickly.
