The PHD Pneu-Connect® X2 is a cost-effective dual pneumatic end-effector system featuring built-in valves and adjustable tooling providing seamless integration of Universal Robots utilized with standard PHD pneumatic grippers. Pneu-Connect® X2 kits provide two PHD grippers, in three different combinations, mounted to the UR robot for maximum efficiency in automation performance. The X2 dual gripper kits include the Freedrive feature that interfaces with the UR for easy positioning and programming. The PHD Grippers are also available with the Click Grip Adjustable Tooling, providing fast and easy setup, ideal for cobot applications and proof of concept.

The PHD Pneu-Connect® X2 is a cost-effective dual pneumatic end-effector system featuring built-in valves and adjustable tooling providing seamless integration of Universal Robots utilized with standard PHD pneumatic grippers. Pneu-Connect® X2 kits provide two PHD grippers, in three different combinations, mounted to the UR robot for maximum efficiency in automation performance. The X2 dual gripper kits include the Freedrive feature that interfaces with the UR for easy positioning and programming. The PHD Grippers are also available with the Click Grip Adjustable Tooling, providing fast and easy setup, ideal for cobot applications and proof of concept.

The Pneu-Connect X2 package includes two grippers, gripper mounting plates, and a cuff that connects directly to the cobot arm. The cuff makes it easy to attach a PHD pneumatic gripper to a Universal Robot and incorporates a built-in MAC directional control valve for opening and closing the gripper, requiring only one airline.

This system comes with “URCap” software—an application specific to the UR robot. The CAP runs inside the UR control software and provides a graphical interface, making the programming and setup of the pneumatic gripper easy to use and integrate through the UR Teach Pendant.
