sBot Stop - URCap is a safety system tailored to make safeguarding your cobot application easy using an UR robot. Thanks to the "nanoScan3 Tool" (URCap provided with this system), the configuration of a safe robot application is done using the UR teach pendant. The safety devices, together with the software and documentation, allow you to configure a safe application using an UR robot (robot is not provided with the system). The functional logic has been tested by SICK. This easy-to-use safety system is designed to work with material handling applications. It provides the necessary know-how to help customers achieve safety without compromising productivity. During operation, sBot Stop - URCap safety system allows free access to the robot working space. The robot only stops when a detected person get too close to the robot working area. The robot will resume its activities at full operational speed as soon as the person leaves this area, providing you the highest productivity.

Set-up and verification: the software tool nanoScan3 Tool - URCap (included) makes it easy and fast to configure the safety laser scanner directly on the UR teach pendant thanks to smart features visualised through the GUI: Smart Field definition, Field Teach-In, Automatic field Fusion and smart walls. Visualisation and easy validation + reporting.

Operation: The safety laser scanner nanoScan3 Core is constantly monitoring the ground level around the robot. Thanks to the monitoring the area around the robot with one protective field and a warning field, it is possible to only stop the robot movement when a person is too close to the robot working area. As soon as the person leaves the area, the robot recovers its operating speed and becomes productive
