The Roundpeg pegOn sensorics span a detection field around the robot - similar to a virtual protection zone. With that, objects and human operators in the robot proximity are recognized. Once an operator is closer than the virtual protection zone, the robot stops.

With that, robots directly recognize their human co-workers. As soon as the operator moves out of the zone, the robot can proceed its work automatically. The detection zones are easily switched on and off and adjusted inside the UR Polyscope software. For complex environments, an auto-detection functionality simplifies programming even more.
